THE FORMATION OF VALUE ATTITUDES OF STUDENT YOUTH IN THE CONDITIONS OF SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL CHANGES

The theses reveal the aspects of the implementation of educational work aimed at solving the current problems of forming value attitudes of student youth  of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Frying pans in the conditions of social and educational changes, in particular during the period of martial law in Ukraine. The topics and forms of university-wide and faculty events in the context of strengthening national-patriotic education are presented. Prospective ways of organizing educational work taking into account the solution of the specified problem are outlined.

As defined in the Concept of national-patriotic education in the education system of Ukraine, during the period of the Russian-Ukrainian war, there is a demand for rethinking what has been done and implementing a number of systemic measures that should be aimed at strengthening the national-patriotic education of children and youth, which will contribute to the formation of a new Ukrainian on based on the action of national and European values [1].

At Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovorody educational work is carried out in accordance with the Concept of educational work for 2021-2025. KhNPU named after H.S. Frying pan, which is based on such principles as:

‒‒ unity of education and upbringing;
‒‒ democratization and humanization of education;
‒‒ unity of national and universal values;
‒‒ activity, self-activity and creative initiative of student youth;
‒‒ continuity and continuity of education;
‒‒ differentiation and individualization of the educational process;
‒‒ systematic education [2; 3].

Thus, during the period of martial law in Ukraine, an important aspect of the activities of the vice-rector for the educational work of the candidate of pedagogic sciences, associate professor N. O. Borysenko, the educational coordinators of the faculties, the curators of academic groups, as well as the entire teaching staff was the provision of both psychological, moral support, as well as the implementation of a number of systemic measures aimed at discussing the problems of war and peace with university graduates.

In particular, it is possible to single out the following university-wide and faculty educational activities, events, challenges, etc., held in the period from February 2022 to June 2022:

‒‒ competition «Letter to the Defender of the Motherland»;
‒‒ flash mob #KHNPUvVyshyvantsi;
‒‒ online festival of amateur art «When the war ends…»;
‒‒ round table «Essays: War-Learning-Dreams» [4];
‒‒ with the support of the «smart foundation» charitable organization, the «History of the Unbreakable» project was launched;
‒‒ online flash mob #KhNPUmoments etc.

All the events are covered on the official pages of social networks of H. S. Frying pans on Facebook [5] and in the university edition of the newspaper «Uchitel» [6].

Thus, we consider the following promising ways of organizing educational work in the context of the mentioned problem at Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovoroda for the 2022-2023 academic year:

‒‒ the awakening of the public initiative of every young Ukrainian, resident of Panna;
‒‒ strengthening the implementation of core components of nationalpatriotic education;
‒‒ formation of value orientations and civic self-awareness based on concrete examples of the heroic struggle of Ukrainians;
‒‒ search for new approaches and ways of implementing European and national values in the educational work of young people, etc.
